Below are links to documents that are designed to help event Champions & Co-Champions execute the planning of events. Questions should be addressed to Geoff Moodie, VP of Programming ( or Bill Munger, Director of Operations ( Please do not hesitate to ask for our assistance.

General Guidance for Champions and Co-Champions

  • Guidance for general planning (tasks, tlmelines, etc. ). This document provides an overview and details the event preparation process. PDF Link

Guidance on preparation of the abstract, bios and headshots

  • These are the key materials needed for the event flyer/handout and the email blasts- this guidance describes the components, desired length of bios, etc. Please do not covert the PDF to a MSWord document and replace the text with actual bios, etc, as the actual template used is an Adobe Indesign format. Instead, please post the edited bios, the headshots, abstract and 'who should attend' along with any informative header into the event Dropbox folder (you may need to request the Dropbox link if we have not yet set it up for you) and then notify Bill Munger at PDF Link 

 Guidance for speakers (to be provided to them by the co-champions)

  • MDG President's welcome, presentation guidelines, and slide preparation tips for MDG audiences  Link
