Abstract

Wearable medical devices continue to improve healthcare, particularly in the monitoring and management of chronic diseases. There are exciting and substantive advancements in disease treatment and quality of life being developed. Two of our panelists are contributing as entrepreneurs from deep personal connections: they are also patients. John Wilcox has Type I Diabetes and Paulo Zoio is a kidney transplant recipient. Our 3rd panelist, Ronen Jashek, will cover other applications of wearable devices in healthcare.

This typically forward-looking MDG Boston Forum will provide up-to-date industry knowledge along with development and application insights for other entrepreneurs considering or already advancing their own ‘wearable’ projects in this rapidly growing healthcare sector.
