Sr. Director, US Knee Commercial Marketing, Smith & Nephew
Ms. Light has extensive experience in the marketing of orthopedic devices. Prior to Smith and Nephew, she spent 19 years at Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes with her last role as Director, US Marketing. She received her degree in mechanical engineering from Union College and her MBA from Babson College.
Topic: The dynamics in the knee implant market and major trends in the orthopedic space.

James Paiva, MS
VP, Marketing Conformis
Mr. Paiva leads the marketing organization at Conformis, Inc. which uses patient data to design and produce personalized joint replacements, for a custom form and fit. Previously, he was Senior Director of Global Marketing at Johnson & Johnson. He holds a degree in biology from the University of Rhode Island and an MS in biomedical engineering from Brown University.
Topic: Perspectives on the custom orthopedic implant market and dynamics, especially given the shifts in the market and patient preference post-pandemic.

Brennan Marilla
Chief Commercial & Operating Officer, Ossio
Mr. Marilla has a successful record of driving growth and transformation. He most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer for Surgical Specialties Corp. Prior, he was VP & GM of Covidien’s $650M Endovascular business and VP, Sales and Marketing for their $1B+ Peripheral Vascular sector. Before Covidien, he was VP, US Sales and Director, for Medtronic’s Global Marketing for their aortic stent graft business. He received his bachelors of science in business management from North Carolina State University.

Ilsa Webeck, MBA
Managing Director & Founder, MedTech Strategies
Ms. Webeck is Managing Director and Founder of MedTech Strategies, with work experiences at Biogen, Heartware, and DePuy Spine (a J&J company). She is also on the current board of directors of MDG Boston. She has a degree in biology from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business.
