Abstract
Drug-Device-Robotics Combination Technologies for the Eye
With an increased age-related high prevalence of eye diseases, ocular drug delivery technology innovation and robotic surgical advances present unprecedented opportunities and challenges.
Our three distinguished speakers will share with us some of the most exciting novel ophthalmic drug delivery technologies and robotic surgical innovation in the 21st century biology-based medicine from: 1) Subretinal gene & cell delivery precision to 2) Smart micro dose eye dropper, and 3) A minimally invasive localized suprachoroidal drug delivery route, all of which represent the new frontier of ophthalmic therapeutic innovation via improved delivery efficiency.
Together, these impressive advances are significantly advancing ophthalmic healthcare.
