Watch Them Sharpen Their Pitch Before Seeking Funding
A select group of four entrepreneurs with a medical device ready to go for a round of funding will give their pitch to a panel of experts who has been formed to help them succeed. 

Each medical device startup entrepreneur will present the company's value propositions and fundraising efforts to an expert panel. 
Following each presentation, the panel will discuss each company's funding efforts and provide guidance to help it sharpen its plan.

The presenting company entrepreneurs are seeking
capital in the form of Seed or Series A.

There will be an audience Q&A session after the presentations.

Rick Williams

Managing Director, Williams Advisory Partners, LLC.
Rick is a nationally published thought leader with a breadth of experience as an executive and board director for technology companies including medical technology, software, and financial services. Currently, Rick is Managing Director of Williams Advisory Partners, LLC. He is past President of the Harvard Business School Association of Boston and was a management consultant with Arthur D. Little, Inc, a global consulting firm.

Bill Edelman
Chairman of the Board - Highland Instruments, Inc., Paragonix Technologies, Inc., and Corsens, Inc.
Mr Edelman also serves on the Advisory Council for the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has served in C-level and board positions of multiple companies and as an investment advisor in this space.

Highland Instruments is a privately held medical device company pioneering the development and commercialization of Electrosonic Stimulation (ESStim™), an innovative noninvasive electrosonic brain stimulation technology for the treatment of brain-based movement disorders as well as chronic pain management. ESStim combines independently controlled electromagnetic and ultrasonic fields.

Kezia Fitzgerald
CIO, Co-Founder, CareAline®
Kezia has won multiple awards, and is on the board of advisors for AI in Medicine and the International Society for Pediatric Innovation (iSPI). She was an Alumnus in Residence and a Healthcare Industry Mentor for the 2018 MassChallenge cohort, where she also drove CareAline® to a gold winner award in the 2017 MassChallenge. Kezia is a developer leader of the Young Innovators Workshop for iSPI’s Pediatric2040 conferences.  
Kezia discovered a need for change in how vascular access lines were being managed during her daughter Saoirse’s treatment for neuroblastoma. She created and iterated the design of the CareAline® Sleeve for PICC Lines and the Wrap for Central Lines while Saoirse was in treatment. Kezia did this while she was also battling her own cancer. After Saoirse’s death, Kezia and her husband Mike started CareAline® Products, LLC and brought her innovations to market.

He has more than 370 financings ranging in size from $500,000 to $400 Million, and more than 300 acquisitions to his credit.

John is a nationally recognized authority on corporate partnerships, technology licensing and venture capital and angel financings as well as one of the leading venture capital lawyers in the US. Prior to joining Morse, John co-founded the Boston office of Cooley LLP, served as its initial managing partner and helped expand the office to seventy attorneys in seven years. He commenced his legal career at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault LLP, rose to partner and structured and negotiated two of the top four acquisitions in the firm's history.

Bill Reynolds
Director of Strategic Reimbursement (Boston, MA) , Argenta Advisors, Inc.
Bill leverages over 37 years of experience in the field of health care technology in his consulting work with Argenta Advisors. His focus is on commercialization, reimbursement and market access for medical devices, biologics, pharmaceuticals, molecular diagnostics and related services.

He has worked in an array of market access, strategy and commercialization roles at several local life science companies, developing and supporting the product value proposition strategy for payers and providers alike. He has supported the adoption of technologies in multiple therapeutic areas and geographies and provided market assessment and evaluation of potential acquisition and/or in-license opportunities for targeted technologies and companies, including for Olympus Corporation of the Americas.
