    Abstract

Be it a friend, loved one, or yourself it is most people will have to deal with an end-of-life care situation. This may arrive in the form of terminal illness such as severe cancer or ALS but also may come simply with advanced age. Yet despite how common this is many, if not most, are caught completely unprepared and don’t even know where to begin in handling these complex situations.
    .
This forum will aim to provide perspective in how to deal with this from technological, caregiving, and financial angles. It is our goal that people come away from this event with a greater appreciation for the physical and personal needs and how to meet them during this time.
