May 2 - Thursday - MDG Boston FORUM
Pathways to Success for MedTech Startups
The Pathways to Success
involve strategies for
startup conception, funding,
development and partnership.

Program Description

Nancy Briefs, MBA, Co-Founder, President & CEO, AltrixBio, will be the Moderator. She is energized by turning innovation into commercial reality, working with creative scientists, and communicating value to partners and investors.

The panel will include an experienced entrepreneur, investor, market access expert, and large company representative to present and discuss pathways to success, from startup conception, funding, and development to strategic partnership.

The combination of scientific advances in the understanding of diseases and the human body, with technological advances have created a tremendous opportunity for healthcare innovation.

Turning an idea into a product isn't easy in any industry. The MedTech industry innovators face challenges in meeting regulatory requirements, proving safety and efficacy and determining who is going to pay for their product.

To translate a great idea into a viable business, entrepreneurs are challenged to create an IP portfolio, build a credible team, provide compelling data that their product works, and understand the unmet need, competitive landscape and market.

The Pathways to Success Involve Strategies
for Startup Conception, Funding,
Development and Partnership.
