Jo Ellen Slurzberg will MODERATE. She has developed and implemented complex reimbursement strategies for a spectrum of innovative biomedical, pharmaceutical and medical device technologies in the U.S. and abroad.
 
Jeff Levin-Scherz, MD, MBA, Assistant Professor Health Policy and Management at Harvard T.H.Chan School of Public Health, will present a broad overview of the factors that are driving the disconnect between spending and outcomes in US healthcare and explore some critical healthcare cost myths and provide some prescriptions for how to overcome them.

Wendy Zhong, PhD Principal Health Economist in Boston Scientific (Watchman) will talk about what goes into developing a compressive health economic argument for payers, facilities, and patients. She’ll then talk a little about what she and her team are doing on Boston Scientific’s Watchman product.
